Now here we are, and I should be outside starting my Couch 2 5K and here I sit. Typing away. Oh, I’ve made up 100 excuses in my mind already. Yes, I have. Like, I’ll start tomorrow. Or, it’s too cold out. Or, I’ll do it tonight. Yes people, it’s the dark underbelly of the non-motivated Christie. And it’s u-g-l-y.
Day 1 Menu
Breakfast: Mini Bagels, Lox, and Low-fat Cream Cheese, banana
Lunch: Turkey Sandwich with tomato and vegenaise (don’t even ask!) and some grapes
Afternoon snack: 7 almonds (yes, I counted them), handful of blackberries, 2 pretzel rods
Dinner: Leftovers in small portion. This was two small slices of roast beef, about three tablespoons of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts
Evening Snack: Carrots dipped in about 1 tbsp of Low-fat Caesar
See! I told you I was eating all day! Or craving all day…whichever.
I didn’t have a coke, but I did have coffee and water.
I didn’t exercise, but that wasn’t the plan to begin with. The plan is 3x a week and it’s supposed to be M-W-F. Yeah. I’m still sitting here…

Meanwhile, I kinda feel like I’m obsessing about Coke. What is in that stuff? It’s more than caffeine, people…just saying.
And also? I don’t like this challenge. When I got on the scale this morning, an automated voice said “one at a time, please”.
