Laughter covers a multitude of suffering

We've had some difficult times lately.  Some hard things coming our way and some strained circumstances.

But I have to say, that as we sit and play with our lovely boy...and his laughter permeates the air, there is something magical that happens.  The burdens seem lighter.  The grief seems easier to bear.  The difficulties are just a little easier to face.  He makes us brave.

Do you think God knew that when he blessed us with babies?

I do.

PS - Rumors are running around that 3/29 is "in" for this month's referrals.  That would mean, if it were true, that we would probably be seeing Keira's little face this week or next.  I'm still calm and matter of fact - because I know that rumors are just that until you have the proof in your hand.  On the other hand, my agency did contact us and tell us to be sort of..."prepared".

SCCCRRRRRRREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM!

No, I'm fine.  We're calm.  Collected.  Matter of fact... no problem

And truthfully, we really need to continue the fund-raising to make it happen.  So October would be ok too!

Visit KEIRA'S FUNDRAISING BLOG to see how you can help us reach our goal to get Keira home!  Danka!

Whoa! Just wanted to say congratulations... so happy that you're finally so close! I am generally a lurker, as I don't have time to blog myself these days, but have been keeping an eye on your ever-honest and refreshing blog... can't wait to hear news about Keira!

Big hugs,
Jesi

OK, I have a few freinds who are getting these really cool adoption loans that are interest free and all you have to do is some paperwork and some serious soul searching (Christian group giving the money). If you are interested I will get the info from my friend. They are applying for a ton of grants and other cool things so if you want the info, I will get it for you. I'm so sorry you are in a tough spot. Please know that we are praying for you. I never shared on my blog, but the day before we left, we got hit with a hard thing and the morning we left another harder one via email. It's been hard in the year since, but the sight of that girl lovin' on her brothers or playing hair with her sissy makes all the unkind, ignorant, uninformed words go away. I'm praying for you tonight.
