Jeesh! Sorry everyone! I'm constructing two posts - one about my experience of motherhood thus far (good, very good, and some ugly) and one about the Ethiopia trip itself. Meanwhile, I've got some cute pictures to share!
That's Daddy's hand and Quint is holding it above. We were driving and AB was trying to hold Quint's hand and drive.

Oh my Lord. He is just too darling!!! I love those pictures of you and Quint. :) You guys are a beautiful family!!!
I have to say, if he were mine, I'd just constantly have to cover that boy up with kisses. I wouldn't be able to stop myself. I'd never get anything done!
OMG what a doll!
His face just melts my heart everytime I see it! Even my hubby was smitten when I showed him his picture...you guys must just be over the moon!
I just love seeing my new sweet beautiful great nephew!!! OMG What a DOLL!! I cannot stand it I want to see him soooo bad!! When you guys comin out to Cali again? Do I have to get a horse and ride to Texas? (can't afford the gas :-)
Love you three so much! I look forward to visiting this site everyday.

At this moment in time you have Clint's undivided attention!!!What a perfect time to set a background for his future speech! His mine is a sponge - absorbing your every word, attitude, and sound. Soon he will become mobile and you will not have a CAPTIVE audience. While feeding play your favorite music.. . introduce him to opera, instrumental music, (perhaps chamber music), sing to him, recite nurcery rhymes. If you are bi lingual, introduce him to Spanish, French, German, perhaps the local patterns of speech in his birthplace.(English accent?) All these exposures will enhance his future in ways more vast than you can imagine. Have fun!
