Ever since my parents came for a special one-month visit back in October – Quint has carried a tried and true flame for both of them. A flame of love in his little heart that provokes him to mention them daily, talk about them, ask for them, include them in lists he makes (“me go store? me go with Papa? Nina?"), and more recently, add them into his bedtime routine.
Because he misses them so much, I gave him a picture of the three of them in a frame for his room. Just so he can “see” them every day if he wants to. And it turns out that he does. Very much.
Love and miss you, Nina & Papa…
Hi Nina. Hi Papa. How was your day? Mine was fine.
Goodnight kiss for you. And for you.

My parents live on the east coast and we're out west so after our lil' one is born soon, we plan to Skype with them a lot so she knows them. Plus, who am I kidding? They'll have a second home here very, very soon.
Sweet indeed. My Li'l has a special affinity for her Boppa, wherein she includes him in all her princess cell phone conversations, all her Kai Lan cell phone chats, and play kitchen phone talks. It's so cute, especially considering that my older kids were all afraid of him and his big beard and big voice when they were this age!
OMW...
That is the sweetest..
Love it..
Hugz to you all..
So sweet, just makes me go AAAHHHH
just makes me go AAHHHHH, so sweet
His heart is bigger than he is.
I think Nina and Papa need to plan for another visit....soon!
What a sweety! :)
How sweet is that? Seriously, he is such a sweetheart!!! I think I may steal your idea for my little one who has a crush on her 'campa' and pretends to call him on her cell phone everyday. Family across the country is the pits when our little ones are so in love with them.
