A giftie!!!!

WOW! For the first time EVER I got a giftie from a fellow bloggie pal who I have never met and who out of the sheer and utter kindness of her heart sent me the most awesome package that she literally "hand-made" for me and my babies!

Today I received not one, not two, but THREE of the cutest, most adorable and soft, smell good little taggie blankies EVER!! Not only are there two baby girl blankies in both pastel pink and lavender - but there is also a DARLING baby blue blankie for a baby boy. You must, must, must visit KELLY at her blog and tell her how cute they are!!

Kelly, you are so sweet and thoughtful - this gift absolutely made my day and I was so humbled that you considered and included each of my babies that I'm longing and hoping for. This is the kind of stuff that re-assures my faith in people - good people do exist and it's so easy to forget that in the hustle and bustle of our lives. You asked for nothing in return, and have never even met me. Thank you for your kindness and for the TLC you put into these precious blankies. You are a dear, dear bloggy friend. Thank you so much! Please tell me if there is a way I can repay your kindness...

Can you stand how cute these are?!?!

Vacation Re-Cap

Hi all! Well, home sweet home, eh? We're resting a lot today as we left for the airport at 3:30 AM this morning, flew home @ 6am and actually arrived through our front door by 8:30am. Tired does not cover it! We're exhausted from vacation - how screwed up is that?!?! Hahha! Seriously, we had a wonderful time and saw so much and did tons of things - I have moved the slide show in the previous post out of the loop and created two below of our overall trip experience. I realize there are a lot of pictures, so peruse at your leisure or not at all - it's just that I have family and friends who will want to see these pics, so I did it in slide show format to make it quick and easy.

Anywhoo - lots to update on here and TONS of blog reading to do on all of your blogs to catch up on the latest in your lives. I still have a post coming about AB's autograph session at the "Kingdom" and more updates and answered questions about the new adoption.

I'll let the pics tell the story of vacation - they'll do it much better than I could by rambling on...but to clarify: We went with AB's sister (look alike is more like it) and our niece and nephew. Also with AB's parents. So those will the be the people you see in some of the pics. Also, there are two shows - one for the theme parks we went to, and one for the general pics from the trip. I included pics of the parks to make all you Disn*y die-hards feel closer to your beloved home away from home.

Enjoy!

Update from the Happiest Place on Earth

So, not much writing here, but below are some pics from the trip - having a great time and hating not having internet so I can keep up on all your blogs - guess I'll have my reading cut out for me on return! Back to D*sneyW*rld tomorrow and to the ocean on Friday. Can't wait! Today is a lazy "lay by the pool" day and I'm happy - my legs are toast after all day at the Magic K*ngdom and another at Univ*rsal Studios. I'm getting old!! You know how I know this? I was more excited to see the shows and sit down in the air-conditioned rooms than ride the rides. I do have an appreciation though for all the times my parents lugged us kids to Disn*y and wanted to see a show or sit-down and eat a meal. Man - sorry Mom, I totally get it now! Anyway, enjoy the pics!!

Radio Silence...

Sorry to all my bloggy peepers - we've left town for Orlando (last Thursday) and I forgot to post before leaving.

Well, we've been in Florida since Thursday and we're having a fabulous time (if you can believe it!!!). We are staying at the most beautiful resort and have a condo which is just amazing. On top of that, Anton's parents surprised us and offered us the master suite, which is so wonderful. We spent the last three days playing, swimming, and floating along in the lazy river. Tomorrow we head to Universal Studios, Tuesday to DisneyWorld and Wednesday we're heading to the ocean to play in the surf and sand. Thursday it's back to the House o' Mouse and Friday is a play day around the resort. Saturday morning it's back home to the old grind...

The weather is warm and balmy, but not too hot and not too humid. It's been a little overcast, but actually that has cut down on the sunburns and searing heat.

So all in all it's a nice relaxing time and we're sleeping in lots and enjoying ourselves plenty. Meanwhile, I cannot believe it but the only downside is NO INTERNET!! We had to drive offsite and find a location that offered internet for a fee. So needless to say, I will not be able to update the blog as I had hoped to, until I get back or unless we go offsite again this week. But with our schedule so busy, I doubt it.

So I'll get back to everyone next weekend with pics from the trip and all that jazz...

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend!!! And thank you to ALL the wonderful encouraging comments left on the post below - we are so appreciative of everyone's bloggy hugs for our latest adventure into parenting. It was wonderful to read all the comments!

See you next weekend!
